long shadows

It is a very calm Sunday, we’re staying at home, just puttering around. It’s nice with one of those days. The Post a Day-challenge is soon coming to an end, and I’m becoming a little obsessive about it now — this post is honestly nothing but a way of getting something in for the numbers. I’m still behind.

It was a fine day yesterday and I took this … the sun sets earlier by they day and the shadows are getting longer…

  1. Such a nice photo. I love shadows. It is really nice when you can have a day to do as you really please and be happy doing it.

  2. Hi,
It’s a lovely photo, with the refections in the water (which you are an expert at πŸ™‚ ) and the shadows of the trees, the different colours, I love it.

  3. That is a beautiful photo Rebekah.

Does it really really matter if you do not keep up with the Post a Day Challenge…it is only to keep you writing , nothing more, nothing less..
But if it really does worry you..just do three posts a day with some of your beautiful pictures..no writing just beauty..then that way you will soon mount it up.
Personally I do not even think about it anymore I just write when I feel like it

  4. Thanks to all of you who took time out to comment here. There’s one thing in particular that I love about Winter afternoons and that’s the light. Now … if we only could get some snow too, it would be great.

Patrecia, I don’t take it TOO seriously, but as I’m so close I would like it to be 365 posts. I will probably put in a few extra Christmas ornaments from old times, that I made … there are very few posts missing πŸ™‚
