Suz,
It was the sugar shack one of G’s friends. He has lots of land, and does the maple sugar thing. Each year, when the pots were emptied, and it was time to boil, he invited a whole bunch of fellow profs from the uni. and their spouses … It was always very nice, watching the boiling and pouring it into cans and bottles … lots of food and drink — it was a social event. He always poured some out on the snow, that we could eat …called taffy, and it was very good … like candy. I have more pictures from there, but the light inside was very difficult and this was way before the DSLR camera 🙂
Great photos! I am so ready for snow. Probably won’t get much as our drought is to continue. )-;
me too, but usually we don’t get any before Christmas..
Hi,
Great window pictures, I especially like the 1st one, that is a lot of snow, looks like there may have been a bit of a snow storm back in ’07/’08.
Mags,
I’d never seen that much snow before in my life. It just kept snowing, and snowing for months … it just kept building up..
Great photos Rebekah! I especially like the one where the light is coming in through the bottles on the window.
Thank you, Barb … I liked that one too ..
I’d like to know about the sugar shack. I like the bottles too. I had not seen that one.

This is a lovely collection of windows. Thanks for sharing
Thank you, nuvo 🙂
The maple syrup bottles look so luscious I want to drink all the contents —
Oh my, oh my! Cold on the outside and yet, those bottles may offer something warm on the inside! Excellent photos!
