Summer Top Ten

an attempt to convince myself that I love Summer!

  • Groundhogs are out!

  • Trees in bloom!
  • Ducklings!!!
  • Colours!!!
  • Cormorants are back, fishing in the Reversing Falls…
  • Spectacular sunsets
  • Summer Clouds!
  • Scenic Views
  • Morning Mist
  • …and perhaps, most importantly…
So … maybe Summer isn’t all that bad after all? πŸ™‚

  1. Hi Rebekah,
I love your photo of the duck about to land, it looks like it is walking on water. πŸ™‚
The sunset is really nice, and beautiful colours.

    1. Thanks, Mags … those cormorants are a delight to watch — their landings in particular! How they put on the brakes, down with the landing-gear — just like any aircraft…

    1. Hi Raenie and thanks for stopping by. Thanks, about the photos. Hope you notice that I removed that widget where you could see where they came from — that was for you!

  2. As usual, your rapport with birds and beasts is exceptional.
    Landscapes pretty neat also (*wink*)

I’m happy for you and your new A/C — but pictoriallly, meh (*wink wink*)

    1. Thank you πŸ™‚ *teehee* about the landscapes. Every now and then I see one… The a/c is ugly but it’s working on its third summer now, and does a pretty good job. Only in one room, though…

  3. I just love your beautiful photos! I love animals, nature and sunsets too. Those groundhogs are just so adorable. I never see groundhogs where I live here in Florida. Nonetheless, that is also a pretty awesome photo of the duck landing! As for your air conditioner photo, it’s a way of life here in Florida for about 6 months out of the year (depending on location). For me personally, I prefer fresh air whenever possible. Anyway, I am so glad that I came across your blog. I will need to catch up with reading all your posts. By the way, I hope that you can drop by my blog sometime too. I just did a post on ducks here in Florida. Thanks for sharing your lovely photos. πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you so much for your sweet comment! That particular groundhog picture is one of my favourites! I can appreciate that a/c is a way of life there! I’ve been there once (New Smyrna Beach 1979), and it was hot and even more HUMID! Will drop by for sure! πŸ™‚
