“Weekly Photo Challenge: Boundaries

In addition to the challenge ´The Daily Blog Post´, Word-Press have come up with a weekly photo challenge. A weekly photo challenge … I can live with that! 🙂

First one out is «Boundaries».

Lily Lake in Rockwood Park has the annual pond hockey coming up this weekend, so all the small rinks got their own ‘boundaries’.

The lake has been plowed for this weekend’s upcoming pond hockey.

  1. Cool. No cold. Interesting for those of us who live in the south and don't have this kind of activity. I like the smoothness of the plowed ice hemmed in by the neat little piles of snow.

  2. Although it gets very cold in my area, the temperature fluctuates a great deal so there isn't much activity on ponds and such. I think it would be nerve wracking to drive a plow on ice! But I'm sure it's totally normal to the people that do it. 🙂

    1. One actually went through the ice! No one was hurt though, but they shut off a large part of the lake.

      Thanks for stopping by 🙂

  3. We don't get snow where I live, so this looks really cool and slinky to me! I'd love to skate on that ice, but would hve to watch those boundaries!
